Need some quick cash in Second Life Linden Dollars (L$)?

Forget the camping chairs and hippie-pay spam web surveys. Here’s a legitimate survey you can fill-in and earn some L$ while you’re at it. It’s really quite simple and you don’t have go teleporting all over the grid to find a specific kiosk or clickable prim to get things started.

Do it all in IM.

The panel is open to any avatar that has been in Second Life at least two months. You will receive L$100 from our bot avatar as a thank you for joining the panel. We have also set up a referral program. If you refer another avatar to our panel and they enter in your name when the bot asks for any referrals, you will be paid an additional L$100. You will be paid for every referral, so if you refer just 10 avatars, that’s L$1,000! It only takes about 5 minutes to complete the survey.

  1. I tried to IM the bots a few days ago but it said they were offline. I sent a message to the administrators, who replied to me yesterday that there had been a problem with the bots and to try again.

I tried again June 24th, and everything seemed to work well and the survey was really quick. I told a few friends and they also completed the survey, and used my name as the person who referred them. Then I waited, and waited.

I didn’t get paid for completing the survey, nor did my friends, nor had I received the referral fee some 6 hours later. I checked again this morning, still nothing. There may still be a glitch, I’ll let you know.

    Have you tried it?

  2. I did try it. And it went through. However, in truth I constantly have Linden Dollars flowing in and out of my account so fast that I have payment notifications turned off. So I really don’t know if I was paid for it.

    But, a good heads-up.

To any others who try this: if you fill-in the survey and don’t get paid, please let the administrators of this project know about it, and let me know about it, too.

I am sure the project administrator’s are on the up-and-up and this isn’t some scam like the Hippi-pay system (okay, scam is unfair for hippi-pay – so I’ll say “spam”.)

However, if it does appear to be a misleading article, I will post an update stating so.

Thank you for the feedback, Cen!

  3. Hey Ari, I have another update on this. I contacted the administrators of this program and they investigated and found the bot had run out of money! LOL. It’s now been resolved. As you said they are on the up-and-up, they just had way more sign ups than anticipated.
